Void Altar
The void altar is a multi-block structure that allows you to obtain void essence. This essence is used in other crafting recipes. Most notably the recipes to craft Passage of the Abyss.
To get the altar to produce void essence you must sacrifice Black Dyed Sculk to it. Some seconds later, void essence will be produced.
