Intro to Shadow Materials
Shadow materials are our proprietary implementation of truly custom items within the Minecraft plugin space, allowing them to be used in the vanilla crafting table. This system allows items with custom metadata to be recognised as their own material type.
You can usually tell if a material is a shadow material by dropping it. It will either glow a certain colour and/or have its name displayed above it.
Some shadow materials are used as crafting ingredients while some can perform certain functions.
